Are you supplying the Uno with power from USB or other?
MKii only monitors power, it does not supply it.
You installed the drivers located in the IDE folder?
If you have the Jungo driver installed, that does not work with the IDE.
Search your IDE folders for "avrisp2.inf", that's the driver you need set up.

i had trouble with the stinking jungo drivers and couldnt get the old driver back up, so luckilly i had an old copy on a laptop and hooked up the avrisp and its a piece of cake .
windows insists on using a newer driver .
