hiho,

im pretty new in this kind programing, but ive got a big question now

is it possible to program the arduino (uno) with a android phone?
in every blog or thread i red they always used a PC or something to program the arduino...
would been quite cool to program the arduino and test the app with the same device

im not sure about the amarino

  • first because they want to use BT (i want to use USB)
  • secound because the environment looks like windows (or so)

I fixed that for you.

When you get the Arduino IDE, along with gcc, ported to the android, let us know.

Try Bitlash. You can put the Bitlash serial interpreter console on the Arduino and program it in the Bitlash language over a serial monitor from the Android.

will the arduino developers stay with linux, macOS and windows?
or are they planing to do a android-arduino-programming tool?

I'm not sure about 'programming arduino via android phone', but you can control arduino board (get/set pin mode and value) with ArduinoCommander - https://market.android.com/details?id=name.antonsmirnov.android.arduinocommander
