Programmable-Air - Adding new sensors?

Hi, new to arduino here.

I have the Programmable-Air kit here and an Arduino UNO connected to a sound sensor. i would like them to connect so that the kit will pump air according to the data received from the sensor. Is there any way of doing so? The arduino nano connected to the kit does not have any rx tx available to serial print and i would like to keep them connected to one computer running simultaneously

thank you for your reply. I have sent an email, but i've also been thinking of using the serialSoftware library instead to create digital rx tx pins to connect the sensor outputs. Should I be using two microcontrollers for this or can i directly attach the sensor?
