I accidently programmed an Arduino Leonardo with utility set to Uno. Could this cause a problem?

Did the upload fail? If so then no harm done. You can "brick" a Leonardo by starting an upload with Uno selected and then changing the board selection to Leonardo before the upload begins but it's easy enough to fix.
