Hi guys
I am programming a arduino to control a stepper motor. I am building a shades for my tv room. Using a remote to control the shades, but I am running into problems. I can't figure out the schematics or the code. I have a unbipolar motor. And using a uln 2003 driver board. If anyone cares I am handicap and it is very difficult to get to the shades.
I would appreciate any help you can give me. If t is any more information I can give you let me know. O btw the remote that I am using I 38kHz.

Is your problem with the motor or with the remote controller?
Does your motor step if you send it a signal from the Arduino?
Does the Arduino receive the correct signals from the remote?

There are many Threads here about receiving commands from IR remote controls.

I agree Robin2 if I knew how to program a arduino to control the shades. I have said before I am new to arduino. All I am asking is for somebody to point in the right direction. I don't want you guys to do everything for me.

You misunderstand. All I was referring to was the upside down image. Fix that. Then it will be easier for people to help you.
