How many steppers we can drive simultaneously using arduino?

Regards, Shashi

If you are expecting someone to write code for you, you are in the wrong place. If you want help with the code that you have written then you need to post the code (following the guidelines set forth in the "how to use the forum" stickies). Also data sheets for any hardware and a schematic of your project.

How long is a piece of string?

There is no simple answer to your question. You can run into limitations due to the number of available I/O pins or the processing speed if you want a high step rate.

  • Describe your project
  • Tell us how many steppers motors you need
  • Post a link to the datasheet for the stepper motor you are thinking of using
  • Give details of the stepper driver that you are thinking of using
  • Tell us what is the maximum number of steps per second that will be required

One can use a number of arduinos as slaves to run any number
of steppers with a single master as a controller. Using the separate
arduinos one can let them handle the pulse rates needed for each
and the master simply directs things like start, stop, how fast, how far and such.
The limit are almost boundless.

Editing your original post, to that extent, is kind of rude. The edited post bears no resemblance to the original so makes my reply look irrelevant.

Sorry for your inconvenience and plz don't mind.I am new to this blog.I wanted to learn arduino and i am trying my level best.

So soon i will gonna upload my code.
