How many times do you need to be told you can't monitor the serial as you maybe? seem to want to do?
It's a negative and it's feedback, so yeah. Take your time.
@mrbdog498, take a deep breath. Let it out slowly. We are all here trying to help you.
Communication on forums is frequently broken up by people misinterpreting the tone of other posts. Keep in mind that everyone who posts here does so because we like helping others use these fun gadgets.
So don't worry if some of the feedback feels cold or negative to you. It is all intended to help you get done what you are trying to do.
Now, time for some more clarification. Up in reply #1 I posted a picture of an ATTiny85 module with a microUSB plug on it.
Is that what you have?
In reply #16, you posted a link to the ATTiny85 chip. INTP called it a bare chip. I call them dead bugs (because the pins look like legs on a bug) (and if you drop it on the table, it usually lands upside down like a dead bug)
Is that what you have?
In his defense, I'm definitely annoyed because I am getting the impression that he doesn't want to hear that he can't do what he wants and thinks it jus takes someone else saying he can to change reality. The screaming in the thread title doesn't help. And he screams the same in another thread title where he actually mentions that he's trying to copy a project except he's trying to do it all with less (in terms of components and knowledge).
mrbdog498:
Ive watched the video man. Whats the point in replying if you only have negative feedback?
I've read the full thread. if all you see is negative feedback then turn your mental filters off because answers have been given that in some of your later posts simply IGNORE them and ask the same already answered assertive questions again. Guess what? Your assertions are wrong. You need to drop them before you can get helped. It is you holding things up.
You are getting closer and closer to being helped by one or two members if any because of that.
BTW, is the new thread you started about this same topic or is the (SOMEONE PLEASE HELP) going to be a regular thing?
The all-caps is internet for SHOUTING, do you see much of that on the board? Are you more special?
This post was about hardware problems and getting code onto the board. The other post was about coding. They are two completely different posts. I know what caps means. I was shouting for help because the post sat there for an hour and a half and i was at a dead end until i got an answer. I now know how to get code onto the board, but i need code to put on it. Visuino doesnt support my board and i havent seen any real code besides the visuino stuff.

The hardware and software integrate in the project. We ask for code AND wiring when trying to diagnose problems.
Separating the two only makes it harder for anyone to TRY and help you.
OH FREAKING GASP! MY HEART! MY HEART! A WHOLE HOUR AND A HALF SHOT OUT OF YOUR ALL IMPORTANT LIFE! DO YOU NEED A WHAAAMBULANCE? OH PANIC, WHAT'S THE NUMBER FOR 9-1-1?
HEY! What about the members that tried to help you and you blew them off? WHAT ABOUT THEIR TIME, HUH?
Do you think that possibly, maybe that's why you got no answer for so long? Hard to say, 90 minutes is nothing when you're talking about forum replies. You do realize that no one gets paid to be right there for you?
Visuino is made to work with Arduino boards. Which Arduino board do you have?
The Digispark is an Attiny85 based microcontroller development board similar to the Arduino line,
But not an Arduino, there are no Arduino ATtiny boards.
And if you call Visuino IDE "real code" then no wonder you don't recognize real code.
If you let go of your false notions then you might make progress on your project.
If you want to use Visuino then at least get a SUPPORTED Arduino or clone. Forget compatibles that have any small differences (oops, that's all of them) and figure that you waste your own time not following correct advice and pursuing the same false path, asking the same basic thing over and over.
We can have ignore lists? O-M-G have I been missing out?
Where how where where how where how?
We had them on two forums I knew in the 90's and early 00's.
-sigh- for a while there.....
