I'm still kind of new on this forum but in other places, I've been
helping other to fix things for some time.
I might ask for measurement of the power rails.
The response would be "they are OK".
Not what I asked!
Sometimes I repeat the question but usually I try
to work with it.
Sometimes I set up and experiment to determine
something and list things I'd like to see a response on.
The answer " that didn't work ".
I already knew it wasn't working, I wanted the listed items
so I could make an intelligent guess as to what to do next.
It seems that people can't do a relatively accurate measurements.
I help people fix clocks sometimes. If the clock has a problem
with running slow, it could be a setting of the pendulum that
is wrong or something is slipping.
I ask for a log of the clocks time of random intervals, for a period
of 24 hours.
I have never gotten a list of times and clock reading. Never!
At most I get "it was about xx minutes slow in about 24 hours".
I explain the purpose of what I've asked. I know that if something
was slipping, the rate of loss would be changing an not constant.
Still, no response.
I suppose it is like the new people on this forum that have a problem
and don't post their code or how they have connected things up.
To help, we need to have some levels of mind reading?
It is hard though for people to admit that something is wrong
with what they have done. I know it is hard for me to admit as well.
Still, to get help, one has to bare one's soul.
