Depending on what’s working or dead, i’d be looking at Alibaba or google to find a mech/controller.
I’ve written software for these in the past, and you may as well buy something that works out of the box. Ensure it supports what you need, like battery backup, lock-brake etc.
Remember it has to comply with local cide for emergency exit, body in the doorway etc.
