Hello,
Thought I'd start a progress thread here on my Robot I've been building. Will probably keep updating this thread with my progress.
The base is a wheelchair and I've been tinkering around with it for a couple of years now (off and on).
I made a video that I have to process and I'll upload it later today or tomorrow(if you're interested).
In the video I explain a lot of what I did, what I changed and what I'm aiming to do.
Atm, he can avoid obstacles and can also follow me around wearing a red shirt. I Also began working on a robotic arm for him(will show a bit in the video)..
He also can speak a few things/phrases(as of now)...hopefully more in the future.

Your project progress sounds kinda like mine (except I'm vastly slower - lol); it looks great so far, though!

I'm sure many would love to see it!
Your robot kinda reminds me of a shorter version of SRI's Shakey:
BTW - are those wire things up front "feelers" (like Shakey used)? How did you end up building them (I've seen many kinds of different ways people have done this over the decades - I'm just curious on your approach)? Also - what kind of case is that on top (and what kind of hardware are you using)?
For the project I am working on, I have a modified steel breaker box as the case (but that might change for the final design) housing a mini-itx motherboard.
