I am pretty new here, some Electronics Teacher said to come see here for insights as the product was nice for what i intend to do.
I want to make an Automated Quiz Machine, so an entertainer can ask questions, 6 teams of 4 people each.
Each player has a momentary switch in front of him and has to press on it to answer the question.
Each team has a Light on their table so if anyone in their team presses one of the four buttons, it illuminates. (and each player has a separate light on the Result Board (6 Lights + 24 Lights))
I have a Buzzer on each time someone presses the button for a sound effect.
And i have a Ready light if the system is ready to play.
My Entertainer has a button wired to the system so he can reset the system and lock it.
I've never done things like that as this is a project that has been passed to me by the last dude who made it.
It is broken and i want to make a brand new one so i don't have to work with half-done/working system.
Any Insights or guidance?
I hope i am clear enough in my explanations, english is not my main language.
I am willing to make researchs, i just want someone to point me in the '' hardware needed '' for that project.
I have to add that my power supply works on 12v right now.
Hey,
Arduino can only run 5v or 3.3v. Atlest, I have not met anyone who has.
the quiz you are talking about will require masses of code and hardware.
but, To get the job done, you can get kits out there that will have everything needed for the job.
i recommend googling "Arduino kits" and check the contents, and the quantity. And see which one fits your descriptiom.
but the code is hard work if you do not know how to code in the first place!
hope I helped!
I am a computer Security officer that is profficient in many languages i think i won't have problems with engineered software if it's a known language, does it runs on C?
I have all the hardware for it, i just need the Logic calculations everything is wired and tested, i just don't have anything to process my inputs/outputs.
hey,
to have logic calculations ans conformations, try sending pictures with tje "additional options" button, so not only I, but ,any otjer people can confirm.
What i mean is, i have my buttons wired in a central area, every wire marked for my inputs/outputs. My led lights are installed, i've tried the game with relays but it doesnt work so well. I wanted a product from Arduino that could take all my inputs and compute a code to make the outputs active when i need them to. I can make the code if i know which language is used.
hey,
so, you are looking for a product made by arduino, or something similar to satisfy your needs?
I'd recommend checking ojt the products tab, and see which one matches your description.
Cam't find one? i'll have a look and see if I can find one
