Proximity sensors / neg output triggering a reverse polarity relay setup for high power motor

There shouldn't be any external noise. all wiring will be about 500mm away from mains power but great suggestion. Thank you. If I do have an issue with that would I follow the same procedure as the Proxy sensors? 5V with R in series with switch?
