PS4 Controller and Arduino Host Shield

Hello,

Just had a quick general question about Arduino Host Shield. From what I've been reading about, with the right bluetooth dongle and as well as PS4 controller you can establish communication (inputs from ps4) and read them into the Arduino.

Here are some follow up questions.

  • Once established (bluetooth) lets say I was to use external battery source for the Arduino, would I need to reestablish bluetooth communication between every boot or will the Arduino / PS4 controller pair once powered.
  • How does Communication exactly work, I understand that on any PC you can simply go to 'bluetooth' settings but Arduino doesn't exactly have that, unless it does which can someone please confirm.
  • Additionally if anyone can reference good libraries for both PS4 and Arduino Host.
