I'll use a pulse rate sensor and i'll use a mini arduino with it, but whenever I code, the pulse rate sensor's readings are from 200s to 400s...
how do I know whether it is right or not?

What do you mean by 200s and 400s?
200 to 400 seconds between beats? 200 to 400 beats per second?
And are you using a library to read the pulse-rate sensor?
As mentioned by mrsummitville, posting your code would help, (properly formatted and between code tags, of course).
Also a link to the library wouldn't hurt.
Maybe it's a cat I think 220 bpm resting and faster running around. But know code it's hard to tell what your doing
