I'm trying to use the Pulsed Light LIDAR-Lite V1 (Silver Label) in a spinning-LIDAR system. I started out by using the MODE interface, but that turned out to be too slow for the spin rate. Since then, have been running some tests using the I2C interface, and although this is significantly faster (approx 50 measurements/sec versus about 25), the measurement speed drops dramatically (like 5x) after a few minutes to 45 minutes after the initial measurement.
I'm using the DSS Circuits I2C Library, and a slightly modified (for timing measurements) version of the 'LIDARLite_I2C_Library_GetDistance_ContinuousRead' sketch provided by Pulsed Light.
