Push Botton Counter improvement code!

Hello everyone,

I need help, I downloaded the code to count and add a button and it works wonders. Except that it starts counting 1 by default, and when I modify the code it does not work anymore.

The other issue I need is that at a certain point, reset the counter to 0, and I do not know how to do it.

Necesito ayuda, bajé el código para contar y sumar un pulsador y funciona de maravilla. Escepto que inicia contando el 1 por default, y cuando modifico el código ya no funciona.

El otro tema que necesito es que en un punto determinado, resetee el contador a 0, y no se cómo lograrlo.

Add an extra button or detect a long press to reset the counter.

Not sure why your code starts counting immediately.

buttonState and lastButtonState are initialized to zero in the declarations. Since buttonPin is INPUT_PULLUP then if the switch is not pressed buttonState will be assigned the value HIGH by the opening digitalRead(). buttonState and lastButtonState are now unequal.
