Push Timestamp string from Arduino to MySQL via MySQL-connector form Chuck

Hello all,

I was wondering how I can push a timestamp (string) from the arduino to a timestamp field on the MySQL DB using the MySQL-connector form Chuck (https://launchpad.net/mysql-arduino[/url]). First I want to buffer the sensor data on a SD-card and push the data each 3 hours to the DB. In all examples the Timestamp will be inserted by the DB itself.

thanks in advance,

The Timestamp column represents the number of seconds since midnight, Jan 1st, 1970. If you're using a DS1307 real time chip then the 32 bit number you get from that chip is the same "format". You just need to insert that integer value like you would any other field.
