PWM current on motor jam ?

When i use a 12 VDC motor direct from battery the nominal current is 150mA and the jamming current is 1,70 A. If I use PWM to control motor in ratio 150/255 is the jamming curent directly 1,70*150/255 = 1,0 A ?

Or how much it is ? I just would like to know before i burn my H-bridge :)

The peak jamming current remains at 1.7amps but the mean current is 1 amp as you calculate. Because the peak is occurring repeatedly your H bridge must be rated capable for the locked rotor stall current. jack
