PWM Max Frequency?

Hello,

I am wondering what the maximum frequency is that the arduino can deliver for switching mosfets/transistors...?

I am looking to make a program that can sweep from 1hz to 15Mhz. It is going to be for finding resonant frequencies of a coil as it is pulsed and then the harmonics of it will be analyzed. Please let me know if this is possible and how many outputs it can have as PWM's to control multiple mosfets/transistors. It will be used as mainly as just an oscillator.

Theoretically you can have PWM frequencies of up to 8MHz using a standard Arduino. But your not completely free to choose below that. The next available frequency is 4MHz, so you cannot try 7MHz or 7.5MHz.

Maybe you should use a LTC6903/LTC6904 device to get your square waves.
