PWM usage on an H-Bridge for the sine wave creation

Hi everyone!
I am doing a project: an H-Bridge, that has an LC load as a filter and is driven by the arduino’s square wave of 50Hz, is creating a sine wave-looking signal that is needed to be more smooth. I was told to use the PWM and implement it in the code, but I only know the theory behind the work of the PWM. So I assume that I need to use a sine table to adjust the duty cycles accordingly, but I am not aware where to start from, therefore I would be grateful for any piece of advice. I don't believe you can produce a sine wave from a PWM signal through a H-bridge.
