PZEM 004T V3.0 NOT WORKING

I have PZEM 004T v2.0 i could get work perfectly but i ordered more and i got the PZEM 004T v3.0 i have tried all i could but its not returning any voltage nor current . am using Arduino uno

The new version exist unfortunately in 2 "manners" : one called Modbus RTU using the specific 16 bits organisation of the RTU for RS485 link : The length of the commands requesting a value or a set of values is build at least with 8 bytes.
The previous one sometimes also labeled V3.0 like the new one has only 7 bytes of command phrases.

To distinguish between the 2 versions I found that the opto isolators for the new version are white or beige whereas the previous ones are black.
I have also purchased the 2 versions and this is one of the differences. The other difference easily seen is the position of the DC voltage capacitor feeding the VLSI which is big vertical on the new MODBUS RTU version!
