On a flat surface the QMC-5883L appears to work just fine. If the surface tilts (side to side, front to back) then the values for the azimuth change. Has anyone else seen this happen? Thank you in advance.
That is the expected result, when using a magnetometer as a compass.
Most people implement a tilt compensated compass using an accelerometer to determine the direction of "down".
