Quadcopter Connections

Hi Everyone,

I am building my own Quadcopter and I can't seem to find a definitive clear answer to my problem so please can someone help.

I am using an Arduino Uno Rev3 as my flight controller with a Turnigy 9x Transmitter and Receiver. I also have 4 Hobbyking F-30A UBEC ESCs and some NTM 1000kv Brushless motors.

Now my problem is that I don't know how to connect the whole lot together. I know that the Lipo Battery will be providing power to the ESCs but where do the servo wires from the ESCs go. Will they go into the receiver or into the Arduino Uno.

I'm just confused on how the ESC, Arduino Uno and the 9X receiver are to be connected.

I hope someone will be able to help.

Thank you

The wires can go wherever you want. To the reciever, the arduino, or directly connected to the battery.

It all depends on how you're planning to set it up. With the info you provided, it's impossible for anyone else than yourself to know.

What is the arduino's role in your setup? What will the servos control? will the arduino control the motors?
