Question about DC motors

Hey there, Hoping someone can help me understand this, I have two 5V DC motors that are connected to a 9v batteries(one battery for each motor).

I have some 3d printed plastic tires attached and when I power up the motors they can't seem to move the car all that far before they just give out?

Am I missing something here? the load on these motors cannot be that high right?

video link in the description for those who are curious to see it running for clarity.

Any insight is appreciated, thanks!

Welcome to the forum!

Those block 9V batteries are intended for ultra low power circuits like smoke alarms, and are totally unsuitable for motors.

A 4xAA, 6V battery pack should work.
