Is it possible to connect a simple sensor like a phototransistor or a temperature sensor directly to a HM-10 and send the data to a mobile device? I'd like to know if I can save some money and space by eliminating the Arduino from the project.
Bluetooth modules expect serial data as input. Unless your device outputs serial, you need more.

I'm trying to use the temperature or battery level as a limited analog input parameter ,
but can't seem to read it out for the iTag although it has the sevice ... = stuck at 78%
What about the HM-10, any experience on temperature & battery level readout?
