Question about port exander NXP PCF8574P

How do you tel from the numbers of the IC whether you have the DGV / PW or DW / N package?

Isn't that in the datasheet?

I got those designations from the datasheet.
But I can't see any of those designations on the chip so I am none the wiser as to which pin configuration it is

DGV / PW ==> 20 pins DIP
DW / N ===> 16 pins DIP

Oh fuc# :confused:

Didn’t notice that one type had two extra pins. I have the DW/N type.

Probably would have been scratching my head for a month if one of you had not pointed out the bleeding obvious.
