All things are subject to decay and other problems over time. All electrolytic capacitors are capacitors because of chemical activity. After years, they do not work like new. Resistors used to change values over years because they were carbon based. Today's metalized resistors have a really long life time. All solid state devices, transistors and ICs are made using chemical etching with extremely active chemicals. Almost all those chemicals are washed away or neutralized, but exactly 100%. Only enough to get by with. So over years, they will find a way to continuing to etch the silicon and kill the piece.
So your concern about a single component is misplaced. Commercial devices are designed so the useful life of the design is less than the life of a single component. The device in question will become obsolete before a component dies.

What is the good temperature range for long-term storage of TFT LCD IPS LED backlight displays? Do manufacturers have a range or does it vary greatly between manufacturers? And what is the maximum humidity without presenting risks?
I do not know the models and manufacturers of the R36S and Powkiddy Q80 displays? this consoles uses 3.5" IPS
Have you ever seen the LCD slow down and become complacent after years of storage? Has the problem been resolved or is it permanent on the display?
Truthfully, manufacturers don't care about how you use or store their devices. Any storage test done will be the problem of whoever uses the item and plans for storing it. Most things only last a few years, anyway. And if a LCD display that stops working is key to your product, then repair or replace the device.
