Questions about LED Chip Certification

Lately, I've been considering purchasing LED chips for a home lighting project, but I've encountered some confusion when it comes to selecting the right ones. I understand that the quality and performance of LED chips have a significant impact on lighting effectiveness and energy consumption. Therefore, I'm hoping to get some advice and clarification on LED chip certification.

I've hrecommend that some LED chips are certified by various organizations such as UL, CE, and others. However, I'm not quite clear on the specific meanings of these certifications and the differences between them. For instance, how do these certifications affect the quality and reliability of LED chips? How should I interpret the standards of these certifications?

Additionally, I'm curious to know if there are any other noteworthy certifications or standards for LED chips? When selecting LED chips, which certifications or standards should be prioritized?

If anyone has knowledge about LED chip certifications, please share your experiences and advice. I believe it will not only help me personally but also provide valuable guidance to others when selecting LED chips.

I assume you have the needed bonding equipment etc to mount these chips. For certification you will need to contact the chip manufacturer. Realize many semiconductor houses will not sell chips. I know of no UL certification on chips. Your UL link goes to LED packages.

If you want certified LEDs already packaged contact the manufacturer's distributors, they will get you going.

Oh i see, i am new working on horticulture lighting, learn that LM-80 is more important, i found some chips brand:
samsung, osram, ledestar.

They are all good companies and make great product. You will have to figure out your cost per lumin and from that determine which is cost effective.

It means the AC power to the device cannot contact people if the light is installed as per the instructions. Has ZERO to do with the light value or any other parameter.
