I'd like to start a project where I can pixel map a few grids of LED strips. I plan to use Chamsys MagicQ software from my laptop to pixel map it. I have a Chamsys DMX interface to send out DMX signals. But what are the other hardware items do I need in order to be able to pixel map? If I use a generic DMX decoder I would need to solder 3 cables to each LED and it would be costly to buy a few 30ch DMX decoders and not to mention a lot of cables. Is there an Arduino hardware and code suitable for this? To bypass the DMX decoders and having to solder the LEDs individually.
