Where can I find a simple extensive guide of electronics? I find that I lack some basic understanding what everything does and what it is. For example, I have resistors down understood, but I don't know what capacitors or inductors and other probably general electronic items that I don't know their use in the circuit and what happens when used exc... Thanks!

When you try a circuit, do up a schematic in Fritzing and post in the electronics forum ( this forum ) for extra help.
Speak to an electrician, might have some old books that aren't needed anymore. Or a library in the technical section.
Thanks, I am quickly learning from all this knowledge that has been hiding from me for some time. I bought an Uno after seeing one advertised and I have ideas... in my head, I don't know what all avenues I can take when approaching a problem. I have been learning about sonar today on my spare time and how it can be used exc... but the other day I had no idea it existed, I knew the technology existed but not to the size that is used today for robots and such for applications. Thanks again.
