Quicker Text Display

Hello,

I am using the ILI9481 for my Arduino Mega 2560, does anybody know an alternative way for the text to display faster? Is it possible to render the text all at once with either this display or a different display?

I need to have similar amount of text content to be displayed. See attached

I would appreciate any recommendations

The ILI9481 can print about 100x faster than your video. Even on a Mega2560.

Look carefully at the label on the anti-static bag the Shield came in.

It will say ILI9481, HX8357C, ILI9486, ...

Install TFT_HX8357 library by Bodmer from GitHub

Configure User_Setup.h to suit ILI9481 or whichever the label said.

Run all the examples.

The Shield is designed for a MEGA2560. It should work on the Due too.

It will also run with MCUFRIEND_kbv but configuring is more complicated. Bodmer's library works fast and well.

Yes I bought it from there, but they shipped ILI9481 to me.

Now I'm just trying to play with this new library to get the text displayed the way I want

If you received an ILI9481 feel the temperature at the bottom of the screen.
It should be cool. Slightly warm is ok. Hot is bad.

The controller is ok. The backlight is taking too much current. There should be a series resistor between the 3.3V regulator and the backlight LEDs.
