R4 wifi connectivity

I'm having a very difficult time getting the R4 wifi to connect to my home wifi network. I have spent hours on every potential solution I could find online with no luck. Does anyone have any insite and plaease understand I am new. Thanks

There are examples in the IDE. Please post one that does not work for you and describe the problems that you are having

Arduino boards connect to 2.4Ghz wifi, both SSID and password must not be too long or contain special characters.
Suggestion:

  1. update the connectivity firmware following Update the connectivity module firmware on UNO R4 WiFi
  2. use your phone to create a 2.4Ghz wifi and use this to test the examples in the IDE as @ UKHeliBob suggested.
