RA8875 - 7 inch display with Arduino mega

Hello,

about 2 weeks ago, i brought the RA8875 (RA8875 Driver Board for 40-pin TFT Touch Displays - 800x480 Max : ID 1590 : $39.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits)
and 7 inch display (7.0 40-pin TFT Display - 800x480 with Touchscreen : ID 2354 : $34.95 : Adafruit Industries, Unique & fun DIY electronics and kits).

Overall, the product is good.
However, why the loading of the image is very slow? to buffer full size image (800x 480) it takes about 1 minute to load.
I have try to increase the buffpixel to 85, but still no good.

Any help please? I have been really desperate with this issue.

Hi,

i just wanna to build a same thing, but my display is still on the way.

I guess there's actully no SD on RA8875, and the RA8875 has a SPI speed barrier of 12Mhz, or lower. I dont know how u loading ur image, but there's some way to make it faster, like define macros. U can try this but maybe it does harm to ur Board.

btw. could u tell which Lib a u using?
