Radio controlled Arduino?

Hi,

Is there any easy way to create a command connection between Arduino and a computer? I want to read some sensors from an Arduino made simple robot, send those readings to a computer, process them on the computer and send back to the Arduino robot the decisions (example : move left 10cm then do the sensor readings again).

I was thinking of using something like this : http://www.metrafo.ro/resources/tx4msil.pdf but I didn't saw any examples and I don't know if it will even work.

Thank you

Sorin

Xbee is your answer

D.

As was mentioned XBee will work. Very easy to setup and use. The radios are
around $22-$25 so they are not the lowest cost solution.

I make an Arduino compatible that has an XBee radio built-in . Information on the board and software examples are at Loading...
