Radiocontrolled stepper motors

Hi!
Newbie...
Looking for software to run;
-a small transmitter with a joystick and a Nano (or Arduino Uno),
-a receiver with Arduino Uno, two stepper motors 28BYJ-48 with drivers.
The range should be at least 200m.

The application is planned to steer (pan and tilt) a camera with tele lens mounted on a tripod. The image from the camera (Canon 5D) is transferred with WiFi to my ASUS pad and it is working well. With all this I can take pictures and shoot video on distance and, by doing so, coming closer the animals.

So, anyone have the software to pan and tilt the camera on distance with a joystick? Links or mail?

Thanks in advance!

Hi
After some Google I did not find any simular project. Trying to learn by doing and therfore need something to start with. Have not found the combination of joystick+radio transmitter and receiver+stepper motors. When trying to combine fragments of code I found, it it did not work. After hours with not working code I realized I need some good solutions to learn from. Ordered a book about Arduino, so for me it is a long term issue and I prefer to learn and understand what I am doing, before just buy it.

Break this down into small steps.
Have you made your stepper motors run without the transmitter/receiver?
Have you made your transmitter/receiver work without the steppers?

You mentioned that your attempt to combine them failed. But before we help you tackle that, it is best knowing that the smaller steps have been successful.

Also, can you describe the hardware you have? What are you using for transmitter/receiver? What steppers? What stepper driver?

How heavy is your camera?

Hello,

Looking for software to run

Of course, that is Arduino software
