Radiohead not compatible with Nano Every?

I breadboarded 433MHz ASK project using Arduino Nano and everything worked fine. I found the Every was less expensive and was told it was pin-for-pin, drop-in comparable. I screwed up. I fabbed a PCB and soldered in the Every and everything worked fine until I tried to add and compile Radiohead's headers. It won't compile. Now it looks like I'll have to unsolder the Every to replace it with a Nano....ARGHH!
Before I try to unsolder it, does anyone have any other possible solutions?
Thanks.

Check the RadioHead library docs to see whether the Every is supported.

Other than:
1.60 2016-06-25 Tested with the excellent talk2 Whisper Node boards (https://talk2.wisen.com.au/ and https://bitbucket.org/talk2/), an Arduino Nano compatible board, which include an on-board RF69 radio, external antenna, run on 2xAA batteries and support low power operations. RF69 examples work without modification. Added support for ESP8266 SPI, provided by David Skinner....

There are no references to Arduino Nano or Nano Every.

That would be the original Nano, same as the Uno. The Nano Every is new and has very different timers, so unless it has been specifically added, you are out of luck.

Radiohead does not approve of this post.

What is your level of programming skill? The only use Radiohead makes of hardware timers, is to implement one periodic interrupt, AFAIK. That might not be so hard to re-write.

Good point on the timer usage, but there is nothing particularly interesting or special about the Nano Every. A $5 Pro Mini or Nano clone would be about the same size and work out of the box with RadioHead.

Ha! Good music... if you live in a cemetery.

I'll check it out, but I doubt if I have sufficient expertise to make those sort of adjustments.

Too late. Like I said; I already screwed up.

Skip your next cup of cappuccino and go for the Pro Mini.

Funny you should say that. Today I had what they call a "machiato". It's about a teaspoon of strong coffee topped off with a tablespoon of foamy milk, and it cost $4.00. I drank it and ordered a big cup of real coffee. It consisted of some brown colored water which I proceeded to add a half cup of milk and plenty of sugar to provide some measly veneer of flavor. No, I don't think I'll try the cappuccino but I will look into the Pro Mini though I think it's too late for that option too.
