Hi All,
I have a Radionics D1252 Alarm Control Panel that I would like to control with an Arduino. It has a 16 character 14 segment alphanumeric VFD controlled by a Micrel 10937P, and a matrix keypad.
I was planning on feeding the entire control panel with 12v (what it gets from the panel) which will power the LEDs for the keypad and voltage regulators for the VFD, and to pull the control lines for the VFD driver and the keypad lines into an Arduino, to talk over serial to the Arduino Mega that controls the system it will be interfaced to.
I can get the Arduino to read the keypad, but I can not get it to talk to the VFD driver.
Anybody have any ideas on how to get this to work? Or does someone happen to know how to communicate with the device over Radionics/Bosch's SDI interface?
