Raspberry PI - whats the word these days?

Si:
The timing even makes a servo pretty jumpy

I have been doing some tinkering with ad-on boards as well. Not really ready for the big public announcement, as I have yet to assemble and test... but here is a preview of my project:

most of the work has been on the hardware side of things so far - next step will be focusing on making the software aspects as accessible as possible

Or anybody have any other suggestions for a sub $80 device capable of wireless and LAMP?

A full-blown LAMP server for under $80 might be problematic (although the ~$50 Geode board mentioned in the other big Pi thread might do it), but this board looks promising for running something like a thttpd-based web server. I haven't used one, yet: I got to the point of getting an order ready to go, but the client cancelled the project at the last minute. That system wouldn't've had a database, but it was going to run a full webserver with CGI, and be able to send SMS and email alerts via mailservers that required authentication with SSL. That company also offers a $110 board with 128M that's worth looking into.

Yea they arent in the budget. I can still get wrt54gs for in the $60 range and dont want to go much if any higher than that for a replacement.
I'm thinking for $35 what the hell. I'll just buy one, wait 3 months to get it, and then test it out.

For one, check EBay.
