i am trying to controll an rc car and cant figer out how to make the weels spin the connecter is just like a servo moter

Try researching how to control a servo.. the operation is identical.

RC car speed controls have a few different varieties.. some can only go forward. some can foward/brake, some can do forward and reverse. You need to look at the spec for your unit.
They function the same as a servo. they rely on pulse timing. try to learn how to control a servo first. when you can make it rotate both clockwise and counter- from center position, you will have your speed control working.

you may need to 'train' your speed control to know what the upper/lower bounds are.
