RC car driver

Let me present my first running project: Arduino controlling a standard RC car. Replaced the 2 (4 pins + GND) switches with 4 transistors, connected to Arduino and it started running.

Demo under: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=odJLRf1Jas4 K.

Just added a wireless optical mouse to control the RC car. As long as it is an USB mouse, the mouse host is connected to the PC and provides coordinates through the serial interface to Arduino. Check it out: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q_j7tu3UH28 The wiring and arduino are not show, sorry about that.

Nice work!

The final non-breadboard version is ready to use.
The idea is to have it compact, stand-alone and easy to transport.
Now there is a PS/2 mouse connected to drive the car.
Check out the photos:

You can see the four transistors replacing the switches.
Transistor’s base + resistor goes to arduino digital pins.

Next would be to have it on a PCB in a plastik box, but i guess i would better go on with the next project.
