Hi guys i pulled out this old rc car with no transmitter to control the car so i thought i could try it on my arduino
but when i opened it up there is no microcontrollers and i am new to electronics and from what i have learnt this rc car is working through analog maybe ??.
could i still mod this car the circuit board dose not contain many parts i am wondering how i would hook the arduino up to this would i scrap the circuit board
and just controle the 2 dc motors some how or do i have the arduino talk to the curcit borad on the rc car ?? unshure

I doubt if the poor picture quality matters. It would probably take a long time and a lot of prior knowledge to figure out the existing electronics - even if they could be used. Almost certainly much simpler to start from scratch.
You don't say whether you want to make the car work by radio control or to work autonomously with an Arduino inside it and no external control.
There is nothing to stop you getting a transmitter and receiver if that's what you would prefer.
If you have the Arduino in the car you will need a means to control the motor and the steering plus, presumably, some sensors to follow a route or avoid a collision.
