I read somewhere, but can't find a link, that an NFC reader cannot detect a card if that card was present before the reader was turned on.
I am experiencing this with my project. A card can be read if I move it slightly or 'jiggle it', but can't be read if it was placed near the reader before the reader was powered on, or in my case before I turn on the antenna.
Is this a limitation of all NFC readers? is there a known workaround, or should I be digging further into my code/hardware to see if it is a problem specific to my project?
Digging into the documentation of the reader and even more, the library used, would likely pay.
