From the spec sheet it looks like the output is an analog voltage between pins 1b and 2a. So if that’s true, connect each (1b and 2a) to two different analog pins on the Arduino. Measure each and take the difference. If the difference is positive then the gyro is being turned in one direction, if negative, it’s being turned in the opposite direction. I don’t know if the magnitude reflects velocity, angular position or acceleration. Hopefully you do if you are wanting to use it.
I’ve gleamed this from the spec sheet. Do not use the power from the Arduino. Give it a separate power supply.
