** My Error: avrdude: stk500_getsync(): not in sync: resp=0x00 avrdude: stk500_disable(): protocol error, expect=0x14, resp=0x51
** Description: I am trying to upload the autopilot code given on the website below into my new ArduPillot board (which basically means I should use Arduino Duemilanove w/ATmega328) and I use the Sanguino software package. Unfortunately, the code does not upload into the board (and this is my first time loading).
* What I am trying to implement: http://docs.google.com/View?id=ddjmqgw3_43gm6gvggf#2_Preparing_the_hardware_87968_9309359584003687
* The code I am implementing is ArduPilot Version 2.3.1; you can download it from the link below: http://code.google.com/p/ardupilot/downloads/list
I have done the following debugging checks: -Updated the FTDI cable driver -Checked different computers (two XPs and a Mac) -Disconnected everything else (eg GPS) from the board before uploading the code. -Tried holding the reset button before loading (I believe this board does auto resetting though) -I also followed the rest of the debugging suggestions on the following two websites: http://www.arduino.cc/en/Guide/Troubleshooting#upload http://diydrones.com/profiles/blogs/arduino-debugging-tips
If you could please tell me what might be the cause of the issue, I will really appreciate it.
