Re: [help] arduino MEGA / PDuino / Firmdata

Ok, stick to arduino 17 on vista and I'll try to help.

what works and what does not work?

Does windows recognize the mega when you plug in the USB cable.

Also, what is P:D?

Yes, windows recognize the mega (driver = good)
P:d is Pure:data

I want to use my mega with this software.
So, I've downloaded pduino firmdata here :
http://at.or.at/hans/pd/objects.html

with the test patch, I can switch on/off a LED connected on the pin 10 or 11 or 12 or 13, but it doesn't work on the other...
And I can't receive data from analog inputs

I can't help with pure data - is there a forum where you could ask specifically for help with it?

can you test all the pins using the arduino IDE? That way you'll know the problem is specific to p:d

Are you sure this setup supports the mega specifically? Internal registers would be different for sure. The avr code probably wouldn't load if it's for the wrong processor but the PC code might not notice.

You could move this post to
Arduino Forum ? Software ? Interfacing ?

There ar people there having trouble interfacing Flash and Firmata
did not check it so closly but it is perhaps better to ask your question there, might have more luck, as this is probably software glitch.
Trouble with Arduino Mega / PureData / Firmata
ok
