Can I achieve scan network function with any other wifi shield apart from official arduino wifi
shield. This shield seems to be expensive.

Also my intention is to find all the smart phones near to the wifi shield. So I would requires MAC address and rssid. Will scan network give me Mac and rssi valve of all the devices
