Re-wiring a 24 key RGB Controller

Hi guys, happy holidays!

I've got a 24 key RGB controller (link below) that I use for controlling an LED strip in my home. I'm currently looking at replacing the IR sensor on the receiver with an Arduino board and wanted to get some advice on the best way of figuring out which of the three wires do what?

My first guess has been that one of them is power for the sensor and the other two are for input?

Thanks!

Since we are guessing, I'd guess power, signal and ground.

Yeah, I realised later on last night exactly how useless that first post was.

Today I decided to crack open the receiver to see what was inside. I'm still learning but there appears to be 2 microcontrollers, 3 mosfets labelled sm3119na and a power line for the 12v supply.

It looks like the three mosfets are used for controlling each of the LED colours on the strip.

I'm about reading up on them to see where I can get.
