Read 2 angles and show the value on display

Hi Guys,

I would like to improve my gear. I would like to build something able to read 2 angles:

Orange Axis on A and Blue Axis in B

I think about making it in Arduino but I’m beginning with it few weeks ago so I need help.

Maybe I can Use:

Arduino

2 gyroscope placed on A and B

small LCD display

a button to “calibrate” the gyroscope.

I don’t need extreme precision.

In your opinion, Is this the best way to do that?

Thanks

A gyroscope doesn’t measure angles, it measures angular velocity.

In theory, you could integrate the angular velocity to get the angle, but in practice, you’ll get way too much drift to be useful.

You could use an IMU with a gyro and an accelerometer, so you can use a sensor fusion algorithm to fix the drift issue, but this only works correctly if the linear acceleration is relatively small.

Ok, thanks. Maybe I can use a mpu6050. I think this sensor has a gyro and accelerometer. This could work.
