Hi! I want to take a scale and use an Arduino to indicate if it is over or under a certain weight (with a light blinking) I am having trouble with the hardware and even where to begin. Any recommendation for a reasonable scale that will pair nicely with an Arduino UNO. Or even the best way to hack a digital scale. Any help would be appreciated!

A lot more information is needed to get started. I am familiar with scales that will weigh a few grains to others that will weigh 100's of tons, I have a feeling yours is somewhere in that range. what is the weight tolerance? What are you trying to weigh. How often is it expected to cycle. What type of budget do you have...
