Reading and writing serial data through arduino and labview

Hello, first of all, thanks for reading my problem and helping me solve it.

So I have a project in school where I have to monitor 3 sensors and graph it in LabVIEW. When the values exceed a specified value by the user by using a slider in LabVIEW, there will be a led that will be lit up. I have to program this project in LabVIEW and Arduino. I have to use VISA. So no external libraries like LIFA etc.

So I have achieved to read 3 different sensors and to plot them on a graph. However, I can't seem to figure out how to write to the Arduino to light up the led while there is a read going on.

My question is how can I write and read at the same time while keeping the read going?

I have posted the LabVIEW vi and the Arduino program in the attachments.

Thanks for looking into my problem!

That’s a LabVIEW problem and you need to ask on the NI forums.

This is indicative of the fact that you do not understand LabVIEW well.
